Shift: Hebrew/English Fixer

Last Updated: March 28, 2026

1. Introduction

Shift: Hebrew/English Fixer ("the Add-on") is a productivity tool designed to correct text accidentally typed in the wrong keyboard layout (Hebrew/English). This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to your privacy.

2. Information Collection and Use

No Personal Data Collection

The Add-on does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, such as your name, email address, or contact details.

No Document Content Storage

The Add-on only accesses the specific text you have highlighted in your Google Doc to perform the character-swapping function. This text is processed in real-time within the Google Apps Script environment and is never saved to an external database, cached, or transmitted to any third-party server.

Authentication

The Add-on uses Google OAuth2 to authenticate your identity solely for the purpose of running the script within your Google Workspace environment.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or trade any user data with third parties. Because no data is collected or stored, there is no data available to be shared.

4. Security

We rely on Google's industry-standard security infrastructure to protect the script's execution environment. No data is handled outside of the secure Google Workspace ecosystem.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
